We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer (f/m/d) in Japan at the earliest possible date. We offer the position as a full-time remote position.

Your Mission

Engage and nurture prospective clients, focus on developing new leads and identifying new opportunities. The successful candidate has a good understanding of Connected Vehicle requirements, telematics for industrial/commercial mobile assets or IoT service applications. He/she must be ambitious, outgoing and tech-savvy.

While being employed at Proemion Ltd. which is our Seoul based hub for the whole APAC region you will be mainly responsible for the Japanese business.

Your Role

  • lead research, identify potential clients
  • lead calls to pitch Proemion’s product portfolio and online web services
  • qualify and track leads
  • document activities with current accounts and inquiries in Salesforce (CRM)
  • provide support and assistance to outside sales and customer care in order to close deals and meet company/team goals
  • conduct webinars to demonstrate products
  • ensure the customer has a positive experience
  • represent the company in a positive, professional manner in all dealings with customers
  • international customer contact
  • collaborate with Marketing department regarding campaigns and market intelligence
  • close cooperation with our international headquarters
  • self-responsible and passionate work
  • visit international trade shows

Your Skills

  • Master degree in business and/or informative/software engineering fields
  • passion for big data products, IoT, connected machines and/or telematics
  • at least 2 years of sales / customer service experience in relevant business
  • excellent customer interaction and communication skills (verbal, written) – also in English
  • take ownership in resolving issues, complete tasks and administrative responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • confident in a “Farmer” role
  • ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies (e. g. wireless products, embedded devices, IoT, telematics, connected machines)
