Your Role
- Architect and evolve TrendMiner’s AWS-based SaaS environment with a focus on scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Design hybrid-cloud strategies that bridge on-premises and cloud environments.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Define and enforce cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, segmentation).
- Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automation.
- Guide containerization efforts using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD.
- Stay current with emerging AWS and cloud-native technologies to drive innovation.
- Support database performance tuning and efficient query design in SQL-based systems.
- Ensure platform reliability and availability with resilient architectures and incident response plans.
Success in this role requires good development practices, deep expertise in AWS architecture, an
understanding of on-premises infrastructure, and the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to deliver a robust, scalable cloud platform.
Your Skills
Must-haves
- Strong knowledge of AWS, DevOps and cloud-native SaaS Architecture.
- Preferably background in the field of data analytics or similar.
- Experience with modern cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD and Helm.
- In-depth knowledge of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience in programming languages such as Go or Java EE and typescript.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English and preferably Dutch.
- Experience with monitoring and logging solutions such as Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Python and backup/recovery tools like Velero.
